The Town of Newmarket will also feature a fully-intergrated trail system from Newmarket’s northern to southern border after the park has been built.

Â Â Â Â When the park opens in spring of 2011 , it will feature an open skating rink for the winter months but it will be turned into an extensive water feature for the rest of the year. Also,Â the park will be full of Â hard and soft zones that will be ideal for activites such as concerts, picnics, events and farmers markets. It will also feature a large canopy providing shade as well asÂ shelter and steps down towards the Holland Rivers Edge.
